Things To Watch #3

reviews of tv show and films, netflix reviews, new shows on netflix, new films on netflix

So I thought I would do another one of my 'Things To Watch' posts as I haven't done one for a while and I have been loving a lot of TV shows and films lately.  So talking about Tv, I'm in the midst of redecorating my bedroom and I'm trying to figure out what type of TV I should get for it, I think the Ultra HD 4K TV Panasonic looks ah-mazing and I would love so much to be able to have something like that in my new room with that type of pixel quality.  Have any of you guys got one? I'm also loving  my Amazon Fire TV stick and so wish I'd gotten one years ago.  It's the best thing and I use it constantly to watch Netflix and YouTube on.  Oh talking about YouTube, number 6 on this list should really be a YouTube channel because I can not get enough of watching Nicole Guerriero's daily vlogs on my fire stick, her vlogs are everything.  If you don't already follow her channel, you should.

Ahh...OK so onto the list...

1.  The Voice Kids - I really am only a fan of American Idol (Yah for its revival) when it comes to music shows, I don't watch the other big ones and the bits that I saw of The Voice UK just didn't excite me at all.  But randomly I caught the first episode of The Voice UK Kids and I loved it.  It is such a fun, sweet show.  The judges are lovely and so kind to all the little kids and all the children are just crazy talented.  I think why I liked it so much was also because its super light-hearted and doesn't take its self too serious.  It isn't the be all for these kids, more of a fun day out.  Definitely good Saturday night viewing.  Watch the first few episodes on ITV player or watch it on ITV, Saturdays at around 7.30pm

2.  Heartland - Uhhh, like one of my favourite shows ever!!! I am not an animal lover, I never have been but for some reason this show about a ranch and horses is honestly my favourite thing to watch,  I've watched the show since it started and it used to be quite hard to find over in the UK but thankfully now you can find every season on Netflix and if you've not already I would urge you to give it a go.  The reason why it makes my list this month is because the 9th season has just been added to Netflix, so freaking exciting.  If you love Gilmore Girls you will love this too, it's not even remotely similar in storyline or anything but the 'feeling' GG has, heartland has it too.  It's heartwarming and to me just the most perfect show.

3.  The Duff - I saw this movie for the first time when it came out a while ago and since its been added to Netflix the other month, I've watched it another few times.  I am so crazy picky with what movies I watch.  I am the ultimate Romcom junkie (I have a new series about to start on my blog about this, keep an eye out for that soon) but if a romcom passes my test then I watch it over and over and over again, there is no limit for me and no time has to be left in between viewings either.  This is a really fun film, not a perfect romcom but really great.  I loved the book so much and even though the film is different, it has great, likable and funny leads and that's what really makes the movie work I think.  Watch The Duff on Netflix now.

4.  The Good Witch - Now you guys know how much I love a Hallmarker movie, they are my thang!! So this is a TV series based off of a Hallmark movie and its amazing.  Again it has the same vibe and feel of Gilmore Girls and Heartland, so sweet and lovely.  It's not about a witch in the traditional sense, more just someone who is very mysterious and intuitive.  It's a great watch and you can view both season 1 and 2 on Netflix now.

5.  Before We Go - This film has been on my 'To Watch' list for the longest time and I finally watched it a few weeks ago.  And...I completely loved it.  It was so different to what I expected.  I think because Chris Evans is in it, I thought it would be a big budget romcom but its not. its more like a little indie movie and it's really, really good.  If you love the Before Sunrise trilogy of movies (My favourites) then this is the vibe that Before We Go was clearly going for.  It definitely isn't the same and it isn't trying to be but its definitely got that lovely slow-paced feel to it, where you feel like your just listening in on a conversation.  Also how did Chris Evans just pass me by, I have major love for him after this movie, the perfect leading man!
You can watch it on Netflix now
