Review - L.A. Girl Foundation

I've been so excited to put a review up for this foundation since I got it for Christmas but I wanted to give it a good trial before I told you what I thought about it.  So here is my review of it....

What's It Called - L.A Girl - PRO.Coverage HD Long Wear Illuminating Liquid Foundation

What the brand says about the foundation - "A lightweight, full coverage foundation ideal for creating a flawless finish.  Developed to deliver seamless results every time, the PRO.Coverage HD Long Wear Illuminating Liquid Foundation is perfect for creating looks that last. The weightless, hydrating formula glides onto the skin imparting gentle hydration and incredible coverage so you can create radiant camera ready finishes whilst caring for your skin."

Type of finish - Dewy/radiant, skin like finish.  Stay away from this one if you like the matte look as its not going to be for you.

Wear time - I've had this on for really long days and its amazing, still intact at the end of the day and looks really lovely.  Around my nose and between my brows are extremely dry and I felt that the foundation had sunk into them a little more at the end of the long wear days but nothing drastic.

Coverage - On the bottle it says its medium to full coverage and I would agree.  One layer on me is quite light and two is what I wear and that's nearly full coverage.  It covers most of my freckles and only on the side of my cheeks do a few freckles show through which I like anyway, but you could layer more and it would cover.

My shade - I got this in Porcelain and I totally just guessed it when I bought it online but its perfect.  Nearly the exact same colour as my skin just a little more olive/yellow than my pink skin tone which is exactly what I wanted as I think that's more flattering on me.

Application - I've found the best way for me to apply it is dab it on with a brush or sponge then buff it into my face using my fingers as it seems to sink into my skin better.

Price - When I bought it at Christmas it was £6 but I think its now selling on most site between £8-£11 which I think is still such an amazing price for how good the foundation is.

My Thoughts-  LOVE, LOVE LOVE!!!  It's perfect for my super dry and sensitive skin. It makes it look hydrated and flawless.  I personally think it looks even better on than my beloved YSL Touche Éclat foundation. It really has such a beautiful glowy finish and it makes your skin look perfect but still somehow natural and radiant.  It's so amazing and I love how affordable it is too!

For reference here is what foundation shade I am in other brands, in case it might help you colour match-
Becca - FAIR
YSL - BR40 (this was a good shade or two darker than my own skin tone)
MAC - NW15

You can buy this foundation on Beauty Bay or Just My Look
