If your anything like me you will watch hundreds of American makeup vloggers on YouTube and crave all the amazing American make-up brands they use and then be gutted when you do a quick google and find out you can't buy them here.
Well I do this almost daily but last year after watching about 10 videos in a row of people hyping up the amazing liquid lipsticks from Gerard Cosmetics I was so beyond excited to see that Beauty Bay are now stocking the brand and I would be able to get my hands on some of their products!
I got this colour above for my Christmas and having been wearing it constantly. I thought I would do a little review post on it in case some of you weren't familiar with the brand or shade.
I really didn't know what colour to pick but I wanted something that I could wear daily that would be pinky but a little neutral toned too so I went for the one that Manny MUA designed in collaboration with the brand (If you haven't checked out his YouTube channel you must, its amazing and he is legit fabulous).
The colour is even nicer on than I thought it would be, I was hoping for a sort of Kylie Jenner shade (The one she used to wear prior to the LipKits) and that's exactly what I got. Its super hard trying to find the right shade of pink when your pale but I feel like I've finally got it.
I would say this is a mauve with pink undertones, it really is flattering on so many different skin tones too as its got that really deep base tone to it.
The texture of the liquid lipstick is so hydrating and smooth not drying at all. It stays on all day long and you don't have that sticky/tacky feeling to your lips when your wearing it either.
I can not wait to try more from Gerard Cosmetics, I really want more of their liquid lipsticks. If you guys have any let me know which colour I should go for next?
You can buy it from Beauty Bay mine is in the shade Serenity and they seem to have a promotion on at the moment where if you buy certain colours (This one included) you get another half price, which is fab!
