The Balm Mary Lou-Manizer Highlighter Review

So I know I am totally late jumping on The Balm bandwagon but I just had to put a review up as I am so in love with this product and had to share!

If your a regular here on my blog, you'll know that I am all about the highlighter, I bathe myself in the stuff and don't think my make up is complete until I am so glowing that I am nearly reflective.  So being such a lover of highlighters I have tried my fair share and to be honest I am nearly always let down.  I love a strong highlight that is super noticeable but still flattering and not shimmery and it seems to be super hard to come by.

My favourite ever highlight has always been Benefit's High Beam, it was the first highlighter that I ever used when I was a teenager and starting to get into make-up and its the one that I always find myself coming back to and I have made my way through bottles of the stuff.  When I heard so much hype about the (semi) new brand The Balm's new highlighter I just knew I had to try it out.

And I am so happy I did, I am in love with it!  It is just beyond amazing and the only highlighter I have ever found to rival my beloved High Beam.
I was a little scared of the texture I thought it would be awful and powdery on my skin but it's not, it sort of turns into nearly a cream like texture and makes your skin look flawless with just the most perfect strong but glowing sheen with not a hint of glitter in sight.

I put it on my hand to show you rather than my face as I thought the camera would be able to pick it up more for you to see, you can see in the above picture just how strong the glow is, a little of this stuff really does go a long way, although me being me I sort of slather it on but seriously you can never be too glowy, right?

The colour is a sort of vanilla gold without being too bronzed, as you know I'm super pale and it goes really nice with my skin tone.

I am obsessed with this product and I just wanted to share it with all you fellow highlight lovers too.
I am such a massive fan of this brand, it seems so much fun and I just love the packaging and all the cute names of products too, I can't wait to try more things from them.  Have any of you fallen in love with more The Balm products? Let me know which ones I should look out for in the comments.
