Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask Review

As you know if you've read my blog for a little while, I have the most sensitive skin and have taken a ton of reactions to a lot of beauty products, make-up and skincare.
One of the things I had to cut out my beauty routine when I was really young because of how sensitive my skin is, was face masks.  I used to love using face masks but after the one I used to use when I was younger from the Body Shop was discontinued, I realised after trying a load of different ones to find a new favourite that they were all just too heavy for my skin.

My skin just reacts super badly to products with a lot of ingredients in them which is something that most face masks just naturally have.  I have tried so many different kinds especially all natural ones and ones made for sensitive skin but they all made my face itch or go red or swell so I just eventually gave up trying.

When I started to read loads about the Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask I sort of fell in love with how amazing it sounded but sort of resigned myself to never being able to try it as I thought that I would be allergic to it as well but I decided to give it a go as it sounded so awesome and try my luck with it!

I am so unbelievably happy that I did because my skin absolutely loves it and I have taken no reaction at all.  Honestly I can't tell you how much I am in love with this product it is my favourite thing I have used in such a long time!

It more than lives up to all its hype too.  It makes my dry skin so beyond soft and smooth and dramatically helps any blemishes or spots I have.  That was the bit that I was most sceptical about as I thought it would maybe take away some redness from breakouts but I didn't know if it would actually help them but it really does.  The next day after using the mask I have noticed such a different in size to any spots that I have, they look so much smaller and a lot more calm too and it seemed to actually eradicate some of them completely which I was more than happy about.

The only thing I would say as every review I have read has went on about the amazing vanilla smell.  Now I am the biggest vanilla fiend literally everything I own has a vanilla scent so I couldn't wait to smell it but I can't smell a whiff of vanilla from it, to me it just smells of straight up honey. It is such a beautiful smell though and just adds to the product and I really don't mind that it doesn't smell of vanilla at all but I just thought I should note it here in case the smell was something you were wondering about too.

If your looking to treat yourself to a luxury new beauty product that will make your skin feel (and smell) beautiful then I can't urge you enough to use this....its amazing!

Buy it from BeautyBay for £17.78 (They have a sale on and it was by far the cheapest price around I could find for y'all)
