Sunday Show and Tell

A little while ago now, my sister told me about a website called TED she said I would love it and i HAD to check it out.
I Trusted her word and did exactly that, and she was 100% right.

TED's mission statement-
"We believe passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and ultimately, the world. So we're building here a clearinghouse that offers free knowledge and inspiration from the world's most inspired thinkers, and also a community of curious souls to engage with ideas and each other."

Basically TED is an annual conference that takes place a couple of times a year and it invites well known people to give inspirational talks on themselves, their work, career, life, whatever.  But the catch is they only get around 15 minutes each.
TED's website is full of videos from all these talks there is hundreds of them, and you can watch them all free.

It's honestly one of my favourite websites ever.
To be honest though its a bit over-powering when you first go on it, the website is a bit tricky to use and if you aren't looking for a specific video, there is so many to choose from that you kinda don't know where to look first.
But my advice is to go through all the speakers names, find someone who you know already and start there, from then you will find similar people with similar visions.

You know some days when you just need to be inspired, for work, uni, life in general whatever the case may be, well this is the most perfect place to look.
Maybe the videos are so powerful because they have to fit their amazing stories into such a short amount of time or maybe its just because its so refreshing to hear such lovely positive inspiring advice.
Either way I urge you to check it out.
Seriously even if you only have a spare 10 Min's watch a little bit of a video and you will be hooked.
There are loads of amazing ones i have watched already but they continuously update the website.

I just watched this one i am posting for the first time today though and its definitely my favourite one of them all.
I can't really even say any more about it other than PLEASE WATCH it is That good. It will really really brighten up your day.

I have read 1000 awesome things for years and years, it really is wonderful - check it out here or buy the book here (you can get it from the uk Amazin too)
Let me know what you thought of the video?
Are you already a fan of TED?
